WOW! 2019 was a mammoth year. Firstly, we’d like to highlight how lucky we are to work with some of the best professionals globally, your relationships, loyalty, friendship and partnership has made us who we are today.
Last year we were fortunate enough to see increases of 177% revenue, a whopping 322% of profit in and introduced six new all-star team members across our Australian and UK offices. Our goal for 2019 was to add new technology for better enablement across our teams, efficiencies globally for the business and uplifting our customer experience through real time reporting, complete transparency and a step in the right direction for true partnership.
Gill Dumigan explains, “When we opened our doors in Melbourne, we had no idea how warmly our approach would be received. Yes, there was a need to offer technical recruitment to our customers, however locally, we had no idea we could infiltrate the Australian market as well as we did. Luckily, with my great team and their genuine approach our Australian friends enjoy the value we bring. We’ve performed well this year, allowing us to invest in key people, technology and marketing to cement our business in the APAC region. With future trend indicating increased demand in Logical’s sweet spot, we hope to continue this success throughout 2020.”
Over the last year we have invested considerably in our baby, welcoming new faces, including, HR & Talent guru Venus Vom, Strategic Operations Director, “It felt like the right time to join a business like Logical, I’ve worked in both environments as a Talent and HR professional for most of my life however not had an opportunity to work with a business that is so customer centric, focused on the experience and offering such creative solutions”. Logical has added efficiencies through technology and automation to mature the business, such as, a new client portal that will give full visibility over the hiring process, talent pools shortlisted and real time reporting, demonstrating ROI at the touch of a button. Workflow automation is saving customer spend, our clients will now be able to request an interview with a candidate at the touch of a button and leave feedback in one central location whilst watching their ‘talent pool’ of shortlisted professionals grow for when they need them the most.
For those who work with us, you will know ‘People’ is our game, professional recruitment has always been our nature. We added to this in 2018 by offering a new service of end to end Talent Management, charged as a daily rate and offering our customers savings up to 60% versus traditional recruitment models. In 2019, we brought another offering to the market, for businesses seeking more value that ‘just a CV’ but not large enough to warrant a full talent service. We call this Logical People Projects – project based assigned where we work in true partnership, delivering not only the talent you need for that project however also building out a talent pool, future proofing your business for more growth further down the line – at NO extra cost! Some of our clients have needs to scale up fast within set budgets making standard recruitment not feasible BUT we are now able to work with our clients creating bespoke recruitment packages to suit their needs and with added benefits! A custom-built talent pool of candidates to use in the future, could it get any better??
Well, we must be doing something right, with 57% of our revenue through repeat business and over 90% of our new customers introduced through referrals, we like to think Logical has made in mark in the Australian community quickly and can be trusted advisers to our network.

In December we hosted our annual Logical Christmas party at The Imperial Roof Top Melbourne, the city views paired with delicious canapes, great weather and a buzzy Christmas vibe, created the perfect opportunity for our clients and friends to get to know each other and form some exciting business relationships.

A significant and inspiring change for Logical in 2020 will be the launch of our new branding! It has taken months of discussion around who we are as a team, how our clients see us and what we want to stand for as a business. With awesome feedback describing us as ‘Authentic, Personable and Professional’ we wanted to reflect this in our image, with a vibrant new look.
