Solutions Architect – VMware (AVS / HCX)
Remote Aus Wide | NV1-2 Clearance Required

I am working with a leading global consulting company delivering large-scale Azure infrastructure modernisation and cloud migration programs. They’re looking for a Azure VMware (AVS / HCX)  specialist to lead complex migrations from on-prem VMware environments into Azure VMware Solution.

This role is ideal for a senior infrastructure architect who enjoys owning end to end migration design and acting as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers.

Key focus areas include:

• Designing and leading on-prem VMware to Azure VMware Solution (AVS) migrations
• Implementing VMware HCX (Advanced / Enterprise) for workload mobility and network extension
• Defining target architectures across networking, storage, security, and resiliency
• Partnering with infrastructure, application, and security teams on migration strategy and delivery
• Producing architecture designs, migration runbooks, and reference architectures

About you:

• 10+ years’ experience in infrastructure, virtualisation, or cloud architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and VMware HCX
• Deep VMware expertise across vSphere, NSX-T, and vSAN
• Solid understanding of Azure networking (ExpressRoute, VPN, Virtual WAN, Firewall)
• Experience delivering complex on-prem to Azure migration programs
