We’re partnering with a global technology consultancy delivering large?scale Azure application modernisation and cloud migration programs across Australian government environments.

They’re seeking a Senior Application Architect (Azure) to lead application modernisation initiatives and design secure, scalable, Azure PaaS solutions within a mature cloud migration model.

Australian citizenship with NV1 or NV2 clearance is essential.

What you’ll do

• Lead application modernisation to Azure PaaS
• Provide technical leadership to delivery teams (5+)
• Design and optimise Azure?hosted applications
• Guide migration strategy and resolve complex dependencies
• Enable monitoring and observability

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years in application development (C#, .NET, Java, NodeJS or Python)
• Strong experience across Azure App Service, Functions, AKS, Containers
• Solid containerisation skills (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
