Desktop Support Technician – Part Time – Melbourne (Eastern Suburbs)

We are seeking a part time Technical Support Specialist to work onsite two days per week as the primary point of contact for all IT help requests.

In this role, you will ensure that systems are running smoothly, and that staff receive exceptional service. You will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, providing support for hardware and software, and assisting with system maintenance and upgrades.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all IT L1/L2 related inquiries and support requests.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to staff, ensuring a positive user experience.
  • Maintain and monitor IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Uphold and ensure compliance with IT security and organisational policies.

What You’ll Need To Succeed:

  • Proven experience in a similar Service Desk support role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with M365.
  • Experience in resolving basic networking issues.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent Customer Services skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
