Senior Infrastructure Architect – Azure

We’re working with a global technology consultancy delivering large?scale Azure infrastructure modernisation and cloud migration programs across enterprise and government. They’re seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect (Azure) to lead complex on?prem to Azure migrations within a proven, mature cloud migration factory.

This role is ideal for a senior Azure architect who thrives on owning migrations end?to?end and designing secure, scalable, enterprise?grade cloud environments.

Key focus areas include:

• Leading large-scale on-premises to Azure migrations using Azure Migrate and native tooling
• Designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones aligned to Microsoft best practices
• Architecting Azure target environments across networking, identity, security, storage, and compute
• Producing High-Level and Low-Level Designs and migration roadmaps
• Providing Azure solution architecture, BoM input, and licensing guidance
• Delivering infrastructure solutioning across complex enterprise environments
• Providing technical leadership and governance for delivery teams
• Troubleshooting Azure and Windows infrastructure issues across performance, networking, storage, and compute

About you:

• Australian Citizen with Baseline, NV1, or NV2 clearance
• Strong experience as an Azure Infrastructure or Cloud Architect
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Migrate and enterprise migration patterns
• Deep knowledge of Azure networking (Hub-Spoke, VNETs, NSGs, VPN, ExpressRoute)
• Solid experience across Azure compute, storage, and hybrid environments
• Confident engaging stakeholders and translating technical designs into outcomes

Nice to have:

• Business continuity and disaster recovery design experience
• Exposure to identity, governance, and monitoring solutions
• Experience working in regulated industries (banking, healthcare, insurance)
• Azure certifications such as AZ305 or AZ104
