Join a global leader in secure, cloud-based enterprise solutions as a Sales Manager supporting high-value clients across Japan’s legal, financial, and investment sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional ready to drive growth, and manage a high performing team.
In this role, you will work closely with leading law firms, investment banks, private equity firms, and other deal-making organisations. You will be responsible for guiding a motivated sales team, strengthening executive-level relationships, and executing strategic account plans to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
Lead a team of 5 Account Executives and Sales Associates, consistently driving performance and surpassing revenue goals.
Coach and mentor your team by actively participating in client and prospect meetings, including regular engagement with VP- and C-suite stakeholders.
Recruit, hire, and develop top talent while fostering a strong, positive sales culture.
Demonstrate operational excellence through accurate forecasting, sales activity reporting, and pipeline management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs, manage escalations, and contribute to broader organisational success.
Identify growth opportunities and recommend strategic approaches to expand market presence.
Extensive experience selling SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, or enterprise software solutions to large corporates or financial institutions.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with VP and C-level executives.
A track record of creating high-performing sales teams and cultivating strong sales cultures.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
Strong business acumen, resourcefulness, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with solution-selling or consultative sales methodologies (e.g., Challenger, Force Management).
Bachelor’s degree.
8–10+ years in a client-facing role.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience (preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and polished presentations.
General understanding of M&A workflows and financial markets.
Fluency in Japanese and English.
Background in investment banking or M&A-related environments.
Creativity, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to build trust and rapport across all levels of client organisations—from Analysts to Managing Directors.
Comfortable collaborating with technical teams to address service delivery challenges.
