We’re seeking a Senior Back End Developer to join a fast-moving team building an industry-first SaaS product that transforms daily operations for a critical sector. You’ll work closely with engineers, product, and UX to design, build, and scale features that have real-world impact.

Location: North Sydney
Working Arrangement: 3 days in the office

Tech Stack: Java 24, AWS, Terraform, React (light exposure), plus integrations with finance systems, IoT, and hardware.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver new features end-to-end alongside the Lead Engineer
• Focus on scalable, secure back-end development
• Build and refine APIs, integrations, and infrastructure
• Contribute to DevOps practices (AWS, Terraform)

What You Bring:

• 5+ years in back-end development (SaaS or complex systems)
• Strong Java skills, cloud architecture (AWS), and IaC (Terraform)
• Database proficiency (SQL, CRUD) and API-driven development
• Knowledge of Spring Security and best-practice security

Bonus: Experience scaling SaaS, OAuth2, or startup environments.
