About the Opportunity
As the Squad Lead, you’ll combine technical expertise, people leadership and commercial acumen to drive the growth of a rapidly expanding Automation & Modernisation capability.

Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you’ll help organisations accelerate their transformation journeys through automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices, container platforms and modern engineering approaches.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll remain close to technology while playing a pivotal role in building a team, developing new services and creating scalable delivery capabilities.

What You’ll Do

• Build, lead and grow a high-performing Automation & Modernisation team.
• Define the technical direction across automation, platform engineering, DevOps and modern infrastructure engagements.
• Partner with customers to identify challenges, design solutions and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Lead solution architecture and technical strategy for complex transformation initiatives.
• Develop repeatable services, frameworks and delivery models that can scale across multiple environments.
• Recruit, coach and mentor technical talent, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Support business growth through customer workshops, solution design, proposals and presentations.
• Work closely with sales and technical teams to identify new opportunities and expand service offerings.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience in automation, infrastructure, platform engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Broad expertise across Automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices and modern platform technologies.
• Experience delivering provisioning, orchestration and automation solutions using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible or similar tools.
• Experience designing and delivering Kubernetes-based container platform’s.
• Background in architecture, consulting, engineering leadership or technical pre-sales.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and customer-facing skills.
• Proven ability to build teams, mentor technical professionals and develop service capabilities.
• A passion for innovation, continuous improvement and helping organisations modernise the way they operate
