The opportunities

Depending on your background, roles span design, delivery and commissioning, including:

• Design Engineers working on cooling strategies for high-density and AI-ready halls, including chilled water, air-cooled and direct liquid cooling systems
• Site / Project Mechanical Engineers overseeing installation of chillers, CRAH units, pipework and plant on large-scale greenfield builds
• Commissioning Engineers taking systems through Level 1 to 5 commissioning and integrated systems testing
• Senior / Lead Mechanical Engineers coordinating packages, managing subcontractors and mentoring junior team members

What my clients are looking for

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in data centres or other mission-critical environments (hospitals, labs, pharma or large commercial builds will also be considered)
• Solid understanding of HVAC, chilled water systems and cooling redundancy (N+1, 2N)
• Familiarity with BMS/controls integration and relevant Australian Standards
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across design, construction and client teams
• Revit or BIM experience is a bonus for design roles
