Our client is looking for an AI Engineer to join a high-impact technology program driving the adoption of Artificial Intelligence at enterprise scale.

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer / Developer to design, build and operate secure, scalable AI and machine learning platforms across on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments.

Working closely with Data Scientists, Architects, Cyber Security and Platform teams, you will play a key role in delivering AI solutions that support critical business outcomes. You will contribute to greenfield and brownfield AI platform implementations, establish engineering best practices, and help shape the future direction of enterprise AI capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement AI/ML platforms and cloud-native solutions.
  • Develop, test and maintain high-quality software and automation frameworks.
  • Deploy, optimise and support AI workloads and model-serving environments.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
  • Provide technical leadership, advice and problem resolution for complex ICT challenges.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish governance, standards and reusable patterns.
  • Support project delivery, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.


Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes, OpenShift/OpenShift AI, containers and Linux environments.
  • Experience with Python, automation, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar).
  • Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, model serving and AI platform operations.
  • Experience with enterprise security, governance and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in AI, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline are highly regarded.
