Ideally based in Canberra – Ability to obtain Bseline Security Clearence

We’re supporting a major Federal Government client on multiple large-scale ICT initiatives and are seeking experienced Business Analysts (APS6 equivalent) to join the CIO Division. These are contract roles with long-term extensions and the opportunity to work across high-impact digital, AI and emerging-technology projects.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience analysing and modelling current and future-state business processes
• Ability to map data requirements, user pathways and information flows
• Proven stakeholder engagement across business, technical teams and SMEs
• Ability to produce high-quality BA artefacts

  • Process maps
  • User stories
  • Service design artefacts
  • Change & comms plans
  • Reports
• Experience conducting investigations, technical research and option analysis
• Ability to translate business needs into techno-functional requirements
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams on complex digital projects

Desirable Experience

• IT service implementation
• Requirements for Office technologies
• Azure DevOps for user story management
• Exposure to Dynamics 365 or Power Platform

Requirements

• Australian Citizenship
• Ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance (mandatory at commencement)
• Onsite in Canberra (remote considered case-by-case)
