Internal Project Engineer – Networks
Melbourne – Eastern Suburbs

In this position, you’ll be driving internal network and infrastructure upgrades, supporting enterprise-grade systems, and stepping into client project delivery during peak periods. You’ll work across core networking, virtualisation, Microsoft server environments, and data centre-style workloads.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver internal networking and infrastructure projects end-to-end
• Assist with client project work (network deployments, server builds, upgrades)
• Configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless
• Build, deploy, and administer Windows Server environments
• Support VMware/Hyper-V and contribute to environment improvements
• Keep documentation, diagrams, and standards up to date
• Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and support teams

• Strong background in core networking (routing, switching, VLANs, BGP/OSPF, VPNs)
• Experience with firewalls and enterprise-grade network appliances
• Solid hands-on skills with Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V
• Comfortable delivering technical projects with autonomy
• MSP experience or similar fast-paced environment highly regarded

• Exposure to data centre environments (racks, cabling, hardware deployments)
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or Azure AD
• PowerShell or automation skills
• Certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Fortinet)
