Senior MuleSoft Architect – 6+ Month Contract (Hybrid, Melbourne)
Location: Melbourne Eastern Suburbs (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Contract Length: 6 months + strong extension potential

We’re partnering with a major enterprise organisation seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Architect to lead end?to?end integration initiatives across a complex environment. This is a hands-on architectural role suited to someone confident, communicative, and comfortable guiding both local and offshore teams.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end MuleSoft project delivery across a large enterprise environment.
• Own high- and low?level design, solution architecture, requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide technical leadership across CloudHub, DataWeave, and enterprise MuleSoft best practices.
• Collaborate closely with a local Architect and PM, while guiding an offshore development team (India).
• Confidently represent the architecture function in workshops, design forums, and leadership conversations.

What We’re Looking For

• 6–7+ years of MuleSoft experience, with 3–4+ years as an Architect.
• MuleSoft Architect and Developer certifications (mandatory).
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex enterprise integration projects.
• Strong communication skills – able to contribute opinions, challenge ideas, and clearly articulate technical concepts.
• Solid experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models.
• Someone proactive, structured, and reliable — communication has been a challenge in this space, so this role needs someone strong in that area.
