Ideally based in Canberra – Ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearence 

We’re partnering with a major Federal Government client to support several large-scale ICT programs and are seeking experienced Project Managers (EL1 equivalent) to lead complex digital initiatives across the CIO Division. These are contract roles with long-term extensions and high visibility across the organisation.

What We’re Looking For

We’re interested in Project Managers who can operate confidently in government environments and deliver outcomes in fast-moving, multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll be responsible for driving project delivery, managing stakeholders, and ensuring governance, reporting and risk management are executed to a high standard.

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years leading complex ICT projects in Federal Government
• Strong stakeholder engagement across business, technical teams, service providers and cross-agency partners
• Experience applying project management frameworks including Waterfall and Hybrid Agile
• Ability to communicate, negotiate and influence at senior levels, including Departmental Executive
• Proven capability in project planning, risk/issue management, financials, procurement, governance and reporting
• Ability to work in Agile, cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
