About the Role
We are working with a leading enterprise within the IT industry, delivering high-impact digital and security solutions to organisations across Australia. The company are looking for a highly skilled Security Solutions Architect to join their Professional Services team based in Brisbane.

This is a customer-facing, permanent role, ideal for someone who is a technically accomplished and commercially aware security professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a track record of designing complex security solutions across a range of environments, thriving on collaboration, technical leadership, and delivering secure, scalable architectures across a diverse client base. 

Key Responsibilities
•    Design and architect security solutions across network, cloud, and data domains, including identity and access management.
•    Collaborate with internal delivery teams and client stakeholders to develop solutions aligned to business requirements and technical constraints.
•    Participate in scoping workshops, RFP responses, and the development of statements of work (SOWs).
•    Present solution designs and strategies to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.
•    Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends, providing expert advice to customers and internal teams.
•    Work with industry-leading security technologies including Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Proofpoint, and F5 to deliver high-assurance outcomes.

About You
•    5+ years of experience in a security architecture or senior security engineering role, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment.
•    Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade security solutions across multiple domains – including network security, cloud security, and identity management.
•    Hands-on experience with technologies such as Palo Alto Networks, Proofpoint, Cisco Security Solutions, and F5.
•    Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
•    Experience developing and presenting SOWs, proposals, and RFP responses.
•    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and business audiences.

Desirable Qualifications
•    Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM or equivalent.
