We’re partnering with a Microsoft-focused consultancy that’s looking to appoint a strategic, customer-facing AI Solutions Consultant to help clients understand how AI can be practically embedded across their business.
This role suits a senior engineer or architect with a broad technical background (c. 8–9 years’ experience) across Microsoft infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and security, who has either worked with AI solutions or has a strong interest in applying AI using the Microsoft ecosystem. The focus is less on data science and more on solution shaping, architecture, and business alignment.
What you’ll be doing
Consulting with customers to explore how AI can be mapped to real business use cases
Designing and shaping AI-enabled solutions on the Microsoft platform, including Azure and M365 services
Advising on how services such as Azure OpenAI, Copilot, Azure AI, Fabric, and Power Platform can be used securely and effectively
Running discovery sessions and workshops with technical and business stakeholders
Acting as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate AI strategy, governance, security, and adoption
Working closely with delivery teams to guide implementation and ensure solutions are aligned to customer outcomes
What we’re looking for
Strong experience across Microsoft infrastructure and cloud (Azure), with exposure to DevOps and security
Background in architecture, consulting, or strategic engineering roles
Hands-on experience with, or strong interest in, AI and Copilot-based solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem
A business?minded approach with the ability to communicate clearly at both technical and executive levels
Passion for AI and emerging technologies, with a pragmatic mindset
