Senior Cloud Architect – AWS & Azure

We’re working with a leading consultancy that partners with enterprise clients to deliver cutting-edge cloud solutions. They’re seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong architecture expertise across both AWS and Azure to join their high-performing team.

This is a client-facing, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys designing scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments using best-practice architecture principles.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Design and implement cloud architectures across AWS and Azure, tailored to client needs.
•    Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or Ansible.
•    Lead cloud migration and modernisation projects, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
•    Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate cloud deployments.
•    Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
•    Produce architecture documentation, solution designs, and technical roadmaps.
•    Stay current with cloud trends, services, and best practices.

Key Skills & Experience:
•    Proven architecture and engineering experience in both AWS and Azure environments.
•    Strong understanding of cloud-native services, networking, security, and identity management.
•    Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
•    Experience with Linux systems administration (Red Hat preferred).
•    Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
•    Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
•    Excellent stakeholder communication skills and ability to lead technical conversations.
•    Consulting or enterprise project experience is highly desirable.
