A federal client is seeking a Senior Power Apps Developer to support the delivery of modern, scalable business applications across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role sits within a digital transformation program focused on improving workflow efficiency, data quality, and operational visibility through low-code solutions.

Role Overview
The Senior Power Apps Developer will design, build, and enhance Power Apps solutions that streamline business processes and integrate seamlessly with the broader Microsoft 365 Platform. The role includes implementing Dataverse as the core data layer, developing automated workflows, and ensuring secure, high-quality application delivery. The position requires strong technical capability, clear communication, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop canvas and model-driven Power Apps to support business workflows.
• Implement Dataverse as the primary data store, including data modelling and configuration.
• Build and optimise Power Automate flows for validation, workflow automation, and notifications.
• Migrate existing data sources (e.g., SharePoint Lists) into Dataverse with a focus on data integrity.
• Apply appropriate security roles, permissions, and governance controls.
• Collaborate with business users to clarify requirements and iterate solution designs.
• Produce technical documentation covering solution design, configuration, and support requirements.
• Provide user training, knowledge transfer, and post-deployment support.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience developing Microsoft Power Apps (canvas and model-driven) and Power Automate workflows.
• Solid understanding of the Microsoft 365 Platform and its integration patterns.
• Consulting capability, including solution architecture design and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimise complex workflows, data connections, and application performance.
• Experience implementing governance and security controls within Dataverse.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information

• Senior/EL1-equivalent level.
• Remote working arrangements.
• Must be able to obtain Baseline security clearance.
• Initial 6-month engagement with potential extension.
