We are working with a growing IT consultancy who specialise in IT infrastructure and storage. Due to a recent retirement and future growth, our client is looking for a senior level Technical Consultant to join their team in Sydney. Primarily working remote with some client site and datacentre visits.

The focus of this role is to work in a post-sales capacity with primary focus being to collaborate with sellers and deliver technical services to business partners on a transactional and project basis. Secondly, to deliver technology skills transfer to clients and business partner technical personnel. This role is internal and external facing.

This role will require on-call assistance 1 in every 4 weeks. This time is compensated on top of your salary.

Experience:
  • 10+ years in the industry
  • Validating and Assisting with business requirements
  • Design, implementation, configuration, and management of IT Infrastructure and network solutions
  • Generation and review of technical proposals and documentation (including design documentation)
  • Positioning technology solutions
  • Capacity to train and guide team members
  • Account and/or project management – seeing a solution through end-to-end
  • End-to-end problem determination and resolution ensuring issues are resolved and decisions made using correct data and considers circumstances and organisational needs
  • Experience within an ICT support environment and meeting SLAs
