We’re looking for an experienced Solution Architect to play a key role in designing and delivering a modern, enterprise-scale data archive solution. Working within a multidisciplinary team of architects, business analysts, project leaders, vendors, and stakeholders, you’ll lead the end-to-end architecture of solutions that are secure, scalable, and fit for purpose.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing solution architectures across infrastructure, applications, data services, integrations, security, and data migration, while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business outcomes. You’ll engage closely with technical and business stakeholders, provide architectural guidance to delivery teams and vendors, and produce key architecture artefacts including solution designs, security and integration models, technology assessments, and as-built documentation.
What You’ll Bring
10+ years’ experience as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments.
Strong background across infrastructure, networking, security, applications, operations, and architecture frameworks.
Experience designing secure solutions aligned with ISM or similar security standards.
Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with data archive solutions, system operations, or large-scale integration programs.
Ability to obtain required security clearances.
Nice to Have
TOGAF certification.
Systems administration experience.
Experience with Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Jira, and GitLab.
Familiarity with Australian Government or Bureau of Meteorology environments and processes.
