We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and guide the delivery of modern, secure, and scalable solutions on Microsoft Azure, with a strong focus on SaaS platforms, APIs, and integration architecture.
In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors to assess SaaS solutions, design cloud-native architectures, and support implementation across complex enterprise environments.
What you’ll do
Partner with business and technology teams to understand requirements and design Azure-based solutions that deliver measurable outcomes
Lead solution architecture from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and strategy
Evaluate and review SaaS platforms and vendor solutions, covering integration fit, security, identity, data residency, and total cost of ownership
Design and govern secure, scalable APIs using Azure API Management (APIM)
Architect integration solutions across SaaS and internal systems using Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure Functions
Design identity and access patterns using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including SSO, B2B/B2C, and managed identities
Apply Azure Well-Architected Framework principles across security, reliability, performance, cost, and operations
Produce high-quality architecture artefacts and documentation, and support delivery teams through implementation
Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language
What you bring
Proven experience as a Solution Architect on medium to large-scale programs
Strong hands-on experience across Microsoft Azure, particularly integration, APIs, security, and cloud-native services
Demonstrated experience assessing SaaS platforms and vendor solutions in enterprise environments
Experience with Azure API Management, secure API design, and OAuth2 / OpenID Connect
Strong integration architecture background, including event-driven and asynchronous patterns
Experience with containerised and serverless environments (AKS, Azure Container Apps, Functions)
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Bicep)
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and vendor management skills
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
Nice to have
Experience designing solutions using the Power Platform
Familiarity with .NET, React, and modern JavaScript ecosystems
