Talend Consultant (Contract)
Australia (Remote/Flexible) | 6 Months (with potential for extension)
Australian Citizenship or Current Security Clearance

We’re currently working with a valued client who is looking to engage a Talend Consultant for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. Working with their government client, the successful candidate will need to be an Australian citizen or hold current security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Design, build, and support Talend ETL jobs and data workflows
•    Engage with business and technical teams to gather and translate requirements
•    Contribute to data transformation, cleansing, and integration projects
•    Ensure ETL processes meet performance, quality, and security standards
•    Support ongoing optimisation and troubleshooting efforts

To Be Successful, You Will Have:
•    2–3 years of hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration (or related Talend components)
•    Strong SQL/database skills (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
•    Solid grasp of ETL best practices and data warehousing principles
•    Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
•    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Candidate Requirements:
•    Must be an Australian Citizen or hold a current baseline or higher security clearance
