Technical Account Manager – Data & Cloud (Snowflake Focus)

We’re representing a leading data consultancy looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager to drive client engagement and delivery excellence across Snowflake-based data initiatives throughout the ANZ region.

This is a hybrid role combining technical leadership, strategic account management, and delivery oversight — perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with senior business stakeholders to shape cloud data solutions and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Advisory
•    Act as the trusted advisor and main point of contact for Snowflake and broader data platform initiatives.
•    Understand client goals and translate them into actionable, scalable data strategies.
•    Lead executive reviews, steering committees, and roadmap planning sessions.
Pre-Sales & Account Growth
•    Collaborate with solution architects and sales teams to design proposals and solution architectures.
•    Lead RFP responses, demos, and pre-sales presentations showcasing Snowflake’s capabilities.
•    Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and drive account growth.
Delivery Leadership
•    Oversee end-to-end delivery across data migrations, pipelines, integrations, and analytics.
•    Ensure strong governance, risk management, and client satisfaction.
•    Mentor and guide technical teams to drive continuous improvement.
Snowflake Subject Matter Expertise
•    Provide expert advice on Snowflake architecture, optimization, and cost efficiency.
•    Help clients leverage new Snowflake features such as Snowpark, Marketplace, Dynamic Tables, and Data Sharing.
•    Partner with cloud architects (Azure, AWS, GCP) for seamless multi-cloud integration.

Requirements
•    8+ years in data & analytics consulting, with at least 3 years focused on Snowflake engagements.
•    Proven experience managing client relationships, delivery, and pre-sales activity.
•    Strong technical understanding of Snowflake architecture, migrations, and BI integration (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
•    Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate technical insights into business value.
•    Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and data governance frameworks.
•    Excellent communication, presentation, and commercial acumen.
